Violet 12 Acid Dyes

The Violet 12 is one of most popular shades of our inventory. Generally it is used for silk, leather, wool and nylon. It contains proper penetration characteristics. Acid dyes are highly water soluble, and have better light fastness than basic dyes. Acid dyes are used to color silk, wool, feathers, other protein fibers and nylons, and nothing does it better. The violet has antibacterial, antifungal, and anthelmintic properties and was formerly important as a topical antiseptic.
